Fuel Hike: Police Arrest Protesters In Lagos

 

Some protesters expressing their displeasure over the recent petrol and electricity tariff hike have been arrested by officers of the police force in Lagos. 

The arrest took place on Thursday at the Ojuelegba area of the metropolis where the demonstrators were staging a protest.

Also arrested alongside the protesters were some journalists.

There are claims that over fifteen people have been arrested in connection with the march.
