The Police in Borno State have recovered a cache of arms at a scene of an attack where travellers were reportedly abducted on Monday.
The travellers were said to have been ambushed at Auno Village on the Maiduguri-Damaturu expressway by men who were seen dressed in military camouflage.
The Commissioner of Police in the state, Mohammed Ndatsu, told journalists in Maiduguri that the arms were discovered by his men about three hours after the attack.
